Installation Guide

1️⃣ Register

Go to codemap4ai.com and create an account.

2️⃣ Download Tool and License

Once registered, you can download both the tool and your personal license file:

• 📦 Download CodeMap4AI
• 🔑 Download license.lic

🧰 Minimum Requirements

• ✅ PHP version 7.1 or higher
• ✅ A local web server such as:
  • XAMPP (Windows/macOS/Linux)
  • Laragon (Windows)
  • MAMP (macOS/Windows)
  • php -S localhost:8000 for quick built-in PHP server
• 🌐 Internet connection (required at least once daily for license verification)

🕓 Offline Tolerance & Cache

You don’t need to stay online at all times to use the tool. CodeMap4AI caches the license verification for up to 3 days.

The tool will attempt to verify your license with the server no more than once per day. If the internet is temporarily unavailable, the cached license allows you to continue using the tool without interruption.

📄 Installation Instructions

1. Extract codemap4ai_v1.0.zip to your local web server folder (e.g., www, htdocs, or similar).
2. Place the license.lic file into the same folder where the tool was extracted.
3. Open your browser and visit: http://localhost/codemap4ai/
4. The tool will automatically validate your license online.

After successful activation, you're ready to scan your project and generate your first code_map.json!
