License and Activation

To use the code map generator, you need a valid license file named license.lic. After registering on codemap4ai.com, you can download your personal license file.

📥 How to Activate

Place the license.lic file into the same folder as the code map tool (codemap4ai).
This file is unique to your account and must not be shared with others.

⏳ Trial and Subscription

By default, your license is valid for a 7-day trial period. If you become a subscriber, the license will automatically be extended.

🌐 Server Check

The tool connects to the internet once per day to validate your license with the CodeMap4AI license server.

License and Version Check

Your license is automatically verified once per day when you are online. If your device is offline, the tool continues to work based on the most recent license data (cached locally).

However, if you've recently subscribed or renewed and the license status still shows as expired, this might mean the update hasn't been applied yet in the local cache.

🛠 What to do?

Click the 🔄 Refresh License icon located at the top of the app next to the license status.
This will trigger an immediate online license validation and update your status.
